This suppressed most of the pattern right away. I did a quick test on your image, and here is a screenshot showing roughly how it should look after you are done masking (I loaded the mask as a selection so you better could see the edge):Īs you can see I only "painted over"/revealed the central star and the horizontal/vertical line. On step 2 there is a screenshot showing what it should look like once you have revealed the center star. There is also a short written tutorial in the readme (page 4). If you don't understand and need more examples of what you should do and what it should look like, then it is demonstrated again at 3:50-4:15, and at 5:20-5:40, and at 6:54-7:15. See 2:30 to see what it should look like once you are ready: There should be no bright spots anywhere (except the center star) when you are done. So go to 1:50 in the tutorial: to see it demonstrated what areas you need to hide/reveal (start a bit earlier to get the layers explained).
So paint only in the middle of the image, and along the center lines. Use a black brush in the layer mask to reveal the center star and the horizontal/vertical line. And on top is a layer with dark stars covering up those bright stars for you (*so you don't have to do a lot of manual work*).Ģ. It will create an image consisting of a large cross and a bunch of smaller stars. You need to remove the suppression from the large center star (and the vertical/horizontal line), nothing else.ġ. Those white spots/stars is what we need to *cover up* (as they are the pattern). The tutorial at no points tells you to hide those dark/suppressed stars to reveal the original bright spots underneath. It would be great if you posted your sample image in the thread for the new plugin.Īnyway, the screenshot you posted above shows you are doing the opposite of the tutorial. And we are still discussing this in the wrong thread (this thread is for the old plugin). Or if using the desktop version, right-click, choose share, then create link. With dropbox, click "share" then "make a link". You dropbox-link doesn't work (you luckily cannot link files like that - that would be crazy insecure as everyone would be able to access everyone's files).
